Caylen Botes Psychology
Caylen Botes is a Clinical Psychologist based in Cape Town. She completed her Undergraduate and Honours degrees in Psychology at Stellenbosch University and obtained her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand.
She completed her internship at the Tara H. Moross Centre, where she worked in the Child In-patient Unit and Outpatient Clinic, as well as at Helen Joseph Hospital in the Outpatient Psychology Department. She completed her Community Service at the Worcester Female Correctional Centre. Caylen is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist.
Caylen is trained in psychodynamic therapy and has experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and supportive therapy. She works collaboratively with each client to understand their individual needs and dynamics, providing a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
